Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab – Laurel, Maryland
christopher worked with Morgan Gick McBeath & Associates, PC (MGMA) on a design-build project for the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. christopher provided infrastructure upgrades, stormwater management, and forest stand delineation. christopher also provided LEED coordination, construction administration, permit processing and traffic control planning for this project.
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab project, designed by MGMA and constructed by Harvey Clearly Builders, was part of a 36-acre master plan design to include 3 office and lab structures along with a structured parking garage. The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab is a not-for-profit center for engineering and research and development. It includes a staff of 5,000 located on a campus of 399 acres with more than 20 major buildings.
