christopher consultants is providing civil engineering, surveying and land planning services for a high-density redevelopment project adjacent to the future Herndon Metro Station. christopher is assisting with three phases of the initial site development, including surveying, site evaluation and engineering, and entitlement services. Civil engineering efforts have included site review, stormwater outfall analysis, SWM/BMP preliminary design, conceptual grading, development plans and conceptual design. Surveying efforts have included utility research, tree location surveys, aerial photography and topography and as-built surveys.
christopher has also provided support for the Development Plan to assist the client in entitling the site for high-density development. christopher worked closely with the client and their attorney to provide them with all required documents to prepare a Special Exception plan, as well as assisting with meetings and proffer preparation.
555 Herndon is planned to be a mixed-use, high-density property consisting of three towers with approximately 270,000 SF of office and residential uses. Each building will have ground floor retail with parking above.
