Hyatt Place at Eagle Village – Fredericksburg, Virginia
christopher has been working with the University of Mary Washington Foundation on the Eagle Village project for many years. christopher provided civil engineering services during the rezoning phase of the Hyatt Place at Eagle Village project, as the development was converting from a Commercial/Retail Shopping Center to Planned Development Mixed Use. christopher created a generalized development plan, surveyed the site, and assisted with underground utility location. After the planning phase, christopher provided complete engineering and site design services leading to an approved site plan and permits for construction. christopher then provided complete construction stakeout services to contractor Donley‘s Inc. The size of the project is 66,500 square feet and the total budget was approximately $10.5 million.
Hyatt Place at Eagle Village, opened in April of 2014, is a select service hotel used for both short-term and long-term stays, servicing both the University of Mary Washington and Mary Washington Hospital. The five-story building includes 93 suites, meeting facilities, kitchen and dining facilities, an exercise area and an indoor pool.
