Jeffrey S. Smith, LS, PS serves as Vice President for the Surveying and Suburban Land Divisions and is for responsible managing Survey and Suburban Land projects and staff throughout Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and West Virginia. Jeff has been with christopher since 1989, and has experience in providing all phases of surveying to government and private industry clients. He has extensive experience in ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, subdivision preparation, boundary and topographic surveys, and construction layout. Jeff is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor both in Virginia and West Virginia.
Jeff is a member of the Virginia Association of Surveyors where he has held various offices in the Mount Vernon and Bull Run Chapters. He is also a member of the West Virginia Association of Land Surveyors, Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Surveyors. Other personal affiliations included past Vice President of Occoquan Swimming Club, Virginia High School League Swimming Official, Board Member of the Sudley Club in Manassas and Youth Baseball Coach for the Greater Manassas Baseball League.
Jeff attended West Virginia University where he studied Geology and later Glenville State College where he studied Land Surveying. He has been married to his wife Pamela since 1990. Jeff and Pam have two children: Matt, a 2010 graduate of Kettle Run High School and 2014 graduate of West Virginia University; and Emily, a 2013 graduate of Kettle Run High School who is currently attending Northern Virginia Community College.
